Free Speech Zone: Kudos to the Film Society: Marathon a success
To the Editor:
I've been attending the annual Science Fiction Movie Marathon at CWRU with my friends in The Warped Corps for almost a decade, and I write to give the Film Society crew recognition for their unenviable task of keeping a small army (roughly 200 people) fed and comfy for almost two whole days. Among other things, the handling of the 10 a.m. fire alarm, the up keep of the public bathrooms, and the addition of healthier snacks such as fruit cups and raisins were greatly appreciated. And many of the FS people did this with little or no sleep over roughly 30 hours. Amazing.
Next year, could the snacks include peanuts? My husband is diabetic.
