Friday, Feb. 10

Who doesn't want to see a movie about a 40 year-old-man who has never had sex? Not much else can be said about The 40 Year-Old Virgin other than it's a surprisingly sweet movie about friendship, love, nerds, and yes, sex. Saturday, Feb. 11

In Sam Raimi's Army of Darkness, the sequel to Evil Dead 2, Ash finds himself stranded in the 13th century, helping an ancient kingdom retrieve the object that they need to battle supernatural forces preying on the land. Sunday, Feb. 12

16-year-old Kaitlyn Lusk sings with the Cleveland Orchestra this weekend, performing Howard Shore's The Lord of the Rings Symphony. The music from the blockbuster trilogy includes "Into the West" (originally sung by Annie Lennox) and "Gollum's Song." This beautifully geeky musical endeavor is sure to be a hit with fans of the movies as well as with those who simply love music. Time: 3 p.m. Cost: $18 general admission. Monday, Feb. 13

Approximately 20 artists contribute to the Pop Shop Gallery and Studio's Free4All exhibit, opening tonight. There's no real theme here. As the title implies, it's pretty much an outlet for artists to display up to 10 new works each. No telling what to expect - except for some mighty fine art. Tonight's opening reception (starting at 6 p.m.) at the gallery will be followed by a free after-party at Mullen's (17014 Madison Avenue in Lakewood), which will offer drink specials. Tuesday, Feb. 14

Nothing's hotter than flamenco. Take your sweetie out for a creative Valentine's date and check out the Paco Peña Flamenco Dance Company, which has inspired a new devotion to an ancient dance by strumming, stomping, and clapping its way from Cordoba's cafés to concert halls throughout the world. The 10-member troupe - founded more than 25 years ago - updates traditional sounds and dances, but retains the inherent emotional communication of the dance. Time: 7:30 p.m. Cost: $39. Valentine's day is all about love in all of its forms. Take that special someone to the Great Lakes Brewing Company tonight, where the theme of the menu is Aphrodisiacs. Caviar, striped bass, and bean sprouts top the menu - all complemented by glasses of tasty ale, porter, and stout. Though a little pricey, the after effects of dinner might all be worth it. If you're gonna get all horned up on oysters and asparagus, you'll get a few stares munching on the chocolate-dipped banana by yourself. Time: 7-9 p.m. Cost: $85 couple, $50 single. An Emerging Technologies Industry Career Panel will be held from noon

it's like to work in industry and get helpful tips on landing a job with
