Budget deficit puts plans to move to Halle Building on hold
The move of 325 Case employees to the Halle Building has been postponed due to space requirements and budget changes.  The building is one of Cleveland's oldest landmark buildings and is located on 1228 Euclid Ave.

The scheduled move of 325 Case employees into the Halle Building in downtown Cleveland has been postponed until further notice. Employees from the university relations staff, the accounts payable and purchasing offices, as well as some information technology staff were expected to move into the building.As one of Cleveland's oldest landmark buildings, the Halle Building is located at 1228 Euclid Avenue. Two years ago, Case signed an agreement with Forest City Enterprises Inc.[read more]

After a rough patch during the middle of the season, the Case women's basketball team is looking to end the year on a high note. The Spartans took two UAA games this weekend to extend their winning streak to three games as they defeated the University of Rochester on Friday night, 66-55, and then continued Carnegie Mellon's three-season long UAA losing streak on Sunday by defeating the Tartans, 72-61.[read more]

Walls, Pawlowski lead hockey to first-ever playoff victory

The Case hockey team was not content with just making the playoffs. Playing as the lowest seed last weekend, the Spartans defeated the third seed and took the top seed to overtime, only to lose on a scramble where the puck ended up in the net. The win in the first game came against Penn State Behrend, the team Case had beaten the week before to assure a spot in the playoffs. In the teams' two meetings during the regular season, Case went 1-0-1.[read more]
