Free Speech Zone: University professors stand behind Provost
To the Editor:
We share the concern of our colleagues in the College of Arts and Sciences over the current budget problems facing the University. We are, however, deeply concerned over the inclusion of Provost John Anderson in the recent no-confidence votes. This action is particularly inappropriate because Provost Anderson was not yet at the University when the basic decisions were made that led to the current situation.
