Softball wins home opener amidst cold and snowflakes
Mother Nature was in a foul mood for the softball team's home opener last Saturday, bestowing frigid temperatures and snowflakes upon those in attendance. Despite the cold, the Lady Spartans managed to pull out an 11-10 victory over Bluffton University.Case was able to build a substantial lead in the middle innings after a rocky start, thanks to a three-run homer from Amanda Bell in the fifth inning.[read more]
