It's hard to say exactly why Cleveland Public Theatre is staging The Rocky Horror Show during the holidays. Maybe they are giving you a chance to redeem yourself in case you missed the Film Society showing. But the tale of a mad transsexual from Transylvania – the first show ever staged by Cleveland Public Theatre years ago – makes for a nice break from all the heartwarming airings of It's a Wonderful Life. Time: 8 p.m. Thursday-Saturday until Dec. 23. Cost: $10-$18. Location: Cleveland Public Theatre, 6415 Detroit Ave. Info: 216-631-2727.
