Friday, Feb. 16

If you love terrible science fiction movies, tonight's film offering by Film Society is for you. Doom, stars The Rock, Karl Urban, and Rosamund Pike as hardened Marines stranded on Mars on a mission to neutralize an unseen enemy. Time: 7, 9, 11 p.m. Cost: $3. Location: Strosacker Auditorium. Bobby Brown might be crazy, but that doesn't make New Edition any less "crucial" to lovers of the hit '80s group (did you know that Madonna once opened for the "Mr. Telephone Man" singers?). Tonight, CIA's 61st annual Student Independent Exhibition opens at the Reinberger Galleries in CIA. This eclectic creative frenzy is curated by CIA students, and features juried works by students consisting of all different types of media; head over to the opening reception tonight and get your culture on. Saturday, Feb. 17

The Case V-Day campaign presents The Vagina Monologues tonight at the Spot. This outrageous, hilarious, and poignant show is entirely student-run, and attempts to raise awareness about violence against women and girls. Chocolate vaginas will also be on sale at performances. Sunday, Feb. 18

There's nothing like spending a Sunday night being serenaded by a sexually questionable easy-listening lyric baritone.
