Spring Break starts tonight (or whenever you finished your last midterm); celebrate tonight at the House of Blues, where songwriting sensation Pete Yorn will be playing. Yorn, whose sound is reminiscent of Jeff Buckley at times, is known for crooning such songs as "Cause It Already Is." Time: 7 p.m. Cost: $22.50. R.E.M., Patti Smith, Velvet Revolver and possibly Van Halen in one of its configurations will perform tonight at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Simulcast, which seems to imply that not all of them will be in attendance live, but it sure as hell sounds fun anyway. The Cleveland International Film Festival kicks off its 31st year in existence today, featuring films boasting stars such as Laurence Fisburne, indie hopefuls, and local filmmakers' offerings.
