ExtravaDance
With the vast number of student groups on campus, it is easy for many to remain unnoticed, especially those whodon't do much outside of their group. The Spartan Tappers are remedying this situation among dance groups by hosting their second annual ExtravaDance.
ExtravaDance is a collaborative dance show and philanthropic event organized by the Tappers to showcase the many student dance groups at Case. Proceeds from ticket sales go to the Cleveland Food Bank.
Over 60 performers are already lined up for the event, which will take place on April 11 in the Thwing Ballroom. Last year's event brought in over 100 performers, and the Tappers hope to surpass that number this year.
"More importantly, we raised almost $200 for the food bank, as well as canned goods," said Nicole Blanchette, a senior member of the Tappers.
Groups interested in registering for this year's ExtravaDance can find more information at http://www.case.edu/orgs/tappers/extravadance.html.
