Phi Kappa Tau brothers thank community
Letter to the Editor
To the editor:
As was advertised in the March 10 edition of The Observer, the brothers of Phi Kappa Tau would like to thankall of the studentswho attended our annual Casino Night at the Spot on Saturday. In addition, we would like to thank all of the Case community who emptied their pockets and gave their loose change for charity on Wednesdayat theKSL Oval. We feel fortunate to be in such a community where, despite the financial hardships that a college education can bring upon people, they still donate.
For those who donated, rest assured that100 percent of the changegiven and more than 90 percent of the Casino Night fees collected will go straight towards Camp Boggy Creek, a camp for chronically ill children in Eustis, Fla. Last year, the Case chapter of Phi Kappa Tau donated over $3000 to Camp Boggy Creek with your help. Your donations help to ensure that children who would not have otherwise had an opportunity to experience summer camp due to medical complications can in fact have that wonderful summer camp experience.
Thank you all for your continued generosity.
The brothers of Phi Kappa Tau
