Resolution R. 16-19 was introduced to the general assembly. The resolution calls for Case to form a committee to "review the current sexual assault policy and procedures." Jacqueline Greene spoke to the General Assembly about the resolution. She said that the intent of the initiative is to clarify the rights of victims and the accused, create a uniform internal judicial process for sexual assault, and to better inform students about the sexual assault policy. The resolution was passed 35 -0.

Resolution R. 16-18, introduced last week by Nickolich, calls for Case to review its activities policy in order to better "promote political awareness, education, expression through open discussion, and political events." The current policy came under scrutiny by students when Case rejected Senator Barack Obama's request to hold a campaign rally on campus. Most representatives speaking supported the resolution. However, two representatives expressed concern that a more lax policy would politicize the campus and not challenge political candidates with open political discussion. The resolution was passed 28-2 with three abstentions.
