It may be cold outside, but at Strosacker tonight, Will Ferrell burns up the track in his latest comedic sensation, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. As NASCAR's top stock car driver, Ricky Bobby is on top of the world: he has a hot wife, two sons named after Walker, Texas Ranger, and a best friend who will do anything for him; that is, until flamboyant French Formula One driver Jean Girard (played by the ever-hilarious Sacha Baron Cohen) challenges Bobby for the top spot. Though it may have been a while since you've read anything other than a textbook, you can still reap the benefits of hearing internationally acclaimed author Margaret Atwood speak today at the Cleveland Public Library. Film junkies and dilettantes alike should check out the 20th annual Ohio Independent Film Festival, which kicks off today.
