Case students to help "make" leaders

Case's leadership conference is taking a turn for the celebrity this semester with breakout sessions like "Three Lessons Britney Spears Has Taught Us."Modeled after MTV's hit show Made, the conference will feature a variety of workshops and breakout sessions geared toward making each and every participant into the leader he or she has always wanted to become.The conference will be held tomorrow from noon to 5:30 p.m.[read more]

Case students vote McCain, Obama in straw poll

If 288 Case students controlled the outcome of the primaries, the country would be choosing between John McCain and Barack Obama in November's election.In a straw poll conducted this past Tuesday, also called "Super Tuesday" in election circles, 191 Democratic and 97 Republican voters selected their ideal candidates. Those who participated in the poll were also asked which issue was most important to them for this election and what they looked for in a candidate.[read more]

New May term will provide intensive learning experience

Case's new early summer courses mean that students can spend three weeks in France or Italy – and earn credit for it.The three-week intensive "May term" will begin at the conclusion of the spring term and conclude at the beginning of the summer session. Most classes will take place May 12- 30, with the sessions abroad adding three extra days for travel. Classes will be in session Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. until noon, with the exception of the Memorial Day holiday observed on May 26.[read more]
