This weekend, the Mather Dance department here at Case celebrates its centennial anniversary with a series of concerts and master classes. Master classes were being taught this past week, but the concerts are being performed tonight and tomorrow evening. The performances feature Panorama, choreographed by Martha Graham, and MDC, choreographed by Gary Galbraith. Time: 8 p.m. Location: Mather Dance Studio. Info: dance.case.edu
Saturday, Feb. 9
Tonight, the House of Blues welcomes Frontiers, a cover band paying tribute to the 80s soft-rock giants, Journey. There's nothing quite like spending a Saturday night wandering down memory lane to a time before most of us were born. Time: 9 p.m. Cost: $10-15. Location: House of Blues. Info: hob.com
Sunday, Feb. 10
Screamo band Four Letter Lie, hailing from Minnesota, make an appearance tonight at the Agora Ballroom. Releasing a new album in just a few short weeks, the concert promises to be a hardcore event for the masses. Time: 6:30 p.m. Cost: $10-12. Location: The Agora Ballroom. Info: clevelandagora.com
Monday, Feb. 11
The Case/CIM Baroque Orchestra puts on their first concert of the semester this evening. Comprised of students from both Case and CIM, the concert is guaranteed to show the small musical ensemble's extreme talent. Time: 7:30 p.m. Cost: Free. Location: Harkness Chapel. Info: music.case.edu
Tuesday, Feb. 12
The House of Blues welcomes the Green 17 Tour 2008 tonight. Well-known Irish punk band Flogging Molly is headlining, while special guests Dusty Rhodes and the River Band and the Rev Peyton's Big Damn Band round out the tour schedule. Wednesday, Feb. 13
Tonight, go out and support your fellow Case students as the Case University Circle Symphony Orchestra has their first concert of the semester. Playing selections such as Beethoven's First Symphony and the Overture to Mozart's Magic Flute, this concert promises to be entertaining. Time: 7:30 p.m. Cost: Free. Location: Harkness Chapel. Thursday, Feb. 14
Celebrate Valentine's Day in style with one of Case's oldest traditions. The Case Men's Glee Club will be going around campus today, popping into classes and serenading unsuspecting students with classic songs such as "Under the Boardwalk." Time: All day. Cost: $5.
