Fantasy basketball tips
The midway point has come and gone in the NBA, with the heavily anticipated playoff run in both the East and West officially underway. While many like to celebrate what has and hasn't happened with their respective teams, many also revert to their fantasy basketball teams to see where and how they can improve their own team in the virtual world. Let's briefly take a look at three players who resemble buy-low candidates as the second half of the season begins.
Beno Udrih – With Mike Bibby out of town and running point in Atlanta, a fantasy opportunity could never be greater for the Yugoslavian. Looks like Udrih made a good decision by leaving San Antonio, as he becomes a central ingredient to the rebuilding Kings team. He should post consistent numbers, along the lines of 12 points, four rebounds, six assists, and one steal. GRAB NOW.
Dorell Wright – With the arrival of Shawn Marion in Miami, Wright's strengths have become even more exposed. The athletic and dynamic forward looks to team up with his two superstar teammates, Dwayne Wade and Marion, to lead an up-tempo offense for the Heat. Wright shoots great percentages, and can contribute in every category, much like Wade and Marion. GRAB AFTER 2-4 GAMES.
Thaddeus Young – For every rebuilding team, there needs to be a young athlete with tons of upside. For the Philadelphia 76ers, that man is Young, literally. The rookie out of Georgia Tech has now been bumped into the starting lineup, and strong production seems to be in the near future for him. With Andre Iguodala running the break with him, Young will look to produce 15 points, with seven rebounds and one steal a game by the time April comes around. GRAB AFTER 4-6 GAMES.
