If you've got a camera phone with Internet access, these decisions have just become a whole lot easier.A group of Masters of Engineering Management (MEM) students is working in partnership with Mobile Discovery to implement a 2D bar code system on campus this semester.[read more]
Cleveland State U. hosts final Democratic debate before primaries
Obama. Clinton. Either way, it's history – as was Tuesday night's Democratic debate at CSU's Wolstein Center. As 9 p.m. approached and the raging blizzard intensified, so did the raucous chanting of Obama and Clinton supporters who gathered on the north side of Prospect Avenue. Clustered around the Cleveland All-City Marching Band, Obama and Clinton supporters bellowed chants and unleashed a torrent of cheers in favor of their candidates.[read more]
SOLAR replaced by newer, sleeker program
Upperclassmen will recall wanting to throw their computer out a window rather than get booted from SOLAR one more time. The new Student Information System (SIS) involves implementing numerous new technological advances that will ease the registration process and make it more secure. SOLAR, developed in 1999, worked alongside the old Student Information System (ISIS) that was installed in 1989.[read more]
