Alterations proposed for existing Greenie routes

After months of surveys and discussion, USG finally drafted a resolution to Standard Parking on Case's most loved or hated transportation system, the Greenies. Proposed on Feb. 26, the resolution recommends significant changes to the current Greenie routes in order to maximize student satisfaction and efficiency as well as changes to the current Greenie shelters and the NextBus tracking system.[read more]

Case students form Health Partnership to help the poor

Pooja Goel and Brendan Trewella, after spending two weeks delivering medical supplies to Guyana, South America in 2005 as a part of a service learning trip organized by CWRU's Global Medical Initiative, decided to form a partnership that ultimately led to the formation of the World Health Partnership. The World Health Partnership is a not-for-profit organization made up of a group of 13 active members, led by Trewella and Goel, working to improve global health care.[read more]

International flavor covers KSL lower level

Renovations at KSL might remind students more of their local Starbucks than a campus library. Futuristic diner-style benches line KSL's lower level, where students can stop in and grab a cup of vending-machine coffee to caffeinate themselves while they study or do homework. The background noise to these academic pursuits is SCOLA, the international television network, playing on a new plasma-screen TV.[read more]
