You, the Living is the second feature from Roy Anderson, and runs for the 32nd Cleveland International Film Festival on behalf of CIA's own Cinematheque. This is also the Cleveland premiere of the film. Time: 10 p.m. Cost: $11. Location: Tower City Cinemas, 230 W. Huron Road Info: clevelandcinema.com

The name Secondhand Serenade sounds like a typical name for any run-of-the-mill band. However, Secondhand Serenade consists of one person, John Vesely, who sings, plays guitar, and plays piano to make up the band. Furthermore, he uses multitrack recordings to create vocal harmonies with his voice, not to mention a lead acoustic guitar over strummed chords. Sounds a bit much, but his current album A Twist In My Story is in the top 50 of the Billboard Top 200. Come check him out tonight if you're in town. Time: 7:30 p.m. Cost: $12 Location: Cleveland Agora Ballroom, 5000 Euclid Avenue. Info: clevelandagora.com

If the band Tortured Soul had a mission statement, it would read something like this: to create modern dance music that could be played live. The trio, drummer/vocalist John-Christian, keyboardist Ethan White, and bassist JKriv, has been rather successful at just that, going from Brooklyn to dance clubs and live venues around the world. Time: 9 p.m. Cost: $10. Location: Grog Shop, 2785 Euclid Heights Boulevard Info: grogshop.gs.
