Northside and Southside offer different flavors

On Case's one-mile long campus, where you live can affect how you live.Case's campus housing is officially split into three major sections – the North Residential Village, the Village at 115, and the South Residential Village. Unofficially, the SRV is further split into "bottom of the hill" and "top of the hill" dorm living. Most of the campus-area entertainment and dining attractions are located nearer to north side, including the Triangle eateries and the University Circle museums.[read more]

Seniors' contributions result in new class gift
A bench memorializing Ignacio Ocasio, "Doc Oc" to his students, will be placed outside of Adelbert Hall near the Hudson Relays rocks.

Many seniors and alumni remember Ignacio Ocasio, known to students as Doc Oc, as an exuberant professor of freshman chemistry courses. Underclassmen and future Case students will remember him as a much quieter, bronze bench partner.The Senior Class Gift Campaign for the College of Arts and Sciences is asking seniors, as well as faculty and staff, to donate money for the completion of this statue as a continuation of the Class of 2007's campaign.[read more]

Students ask for pets to be allowed back on campus
USG's resolution to allow pets on campus may give students something to look forward to on cloudy Cleveland days.

Students and faculty may soon see furry, four-legged friends trotting through campus if a new USG Resolution is adopted by Case administration and officials.Earlier this semester, members of Case CARES, headed by junior Michelle Cehn, drafted a resolution that seeks to change the university's pet policy, last updated in 2003. At that time, Case's Faculty Senate passed a "pet ban" for the campus amid furious protests.[read more]
