Case's Esther Erb was in the spotlight last Saturday at the Calvin Knight Invitational after running the fastest time this year in the women's 5k in Div. III. Wednesday, the senior was again in the limelight, singing the national anthem at Jacob's Field as a crowd filed into the stands. Erb has sung the national anthem twice before at the Jake when the Spartan's baseball team played at the park. The reviews of Erb's performance were uniformly positive. "She did a really nice job," said Sports Time Ohio pregame and postgame host Al Pawlowski.
