Spartan Spotlight: Anna Taylor
The Basics: Anna Taylor is a junior nutrition major from Westerville, Ohio, a suburb of Columbus. Anna runs cross country and is the newest member of the women's basketball team.
Chris Lambert: What made you decide to play basketball again?
Anna Taylor: Mary Herendeen…she's kind of intimidating.
CL: Here I thought you'd say something like you love the game and miss the competition. Not that Mary bullied you into it…she does work out, though. Anyway, who's your favorite athlete?
AT: You, Chris Lambert, you.
CL: Well, people do say that me and Grady Sizemore have an awful lot in common. We'll discuss that later. Do you have any hobbies or extracurricular activities?
AT: Serenading my roommate.
CL: When it comes to singing, I'm sure you're great. A regular Paris Hilton. Now, you're an OSU fan. Do you think they'll win another national title this year?
AT: Is this a serious question? I'm hoping you know the answer to this.
CL: (Psst. In case you don't know, the answer is yes.) Did you know that Case's football team is 1-0 against OSU?
AT: Yes.
CL: …Good. Have any shout-outs?
AT: To the Euclid Corridor Construction Project…I love it.
CL: I really, really hate it. Where's Anna Taylor 10 years from now?
AT: I'm going to be a MADE coach for MTV. Who doesn't want to be that?
CL: John Wilkes Booth. If you could bring any artist(s) to Case for a concert, who would you bring?
AT: Spice Girls…They're making a comeback. We would be ahead of the curve.
CL: Do you have a hidden talent?
AT: I can wiggle my ears.
CL: I bet that really comes in handy. What's your favorite time of the year at Case?
AT: FALL!
CL: Personally, I like the time between May and September when I'm not here. Any classes or professors you recommend?
AT: SOCI 112B with B.Gran....best class you'll ever take, and then, of course, underwater basket-weaving.
CL: Best place you've eaten lately?
AT: Nick's food in our kitchen…delicious.
CL: Yum. Have any nicknames?
AT: Timon…soccer, freshman year.
CL: Any comments about the basketball team and what they're going to do this season?
AT: Um....my teammates are kind of a big deal, you should all probably come watch.
CL: First game is Nov. 16.
