Third wave ska mainstays Catch 22 are playing the Agora Ballroom in downtown Cleveland. Originally the home of several members of Streetlight Manifesto, Catch 22 has survived through many lineup changes and released five full-length albums since 1999. Tonight, Film Society is screening the classic 1999 film Fight Club. Written by Chuck Palahniuk, Fight Club revolves around a group of people who channel their aggression into secret, underground battle clubs where they beat the crap out of each other. Starring Brad Pitt, Edward Norton, and Helena Bonham Carter, the ending of this movie will play with your mind for days. The Film Society is also now accepting CaseCash, benefiting cheap college students everywhere. Or just at Case Western Reserve University. Time: 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Cost: $3. Critically lauded indie/experimental/post-punk group Xiu Xiu are bringing their multifaceted rock sound to the Grog Shop. Coming off the success of their sixth studio full-length, Women as Lovers, frontman Jamie Stewart and his revolving door of bandmates and tourmates have continued to gain a wider audience, despite the band's uncompromising sound. Case's very own Footlighters isholding auditions for the fall show Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. This macabre 1979 masterpiece by Stephen Sondheim was recently made into a feature film starring Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter. Here's your shot to step into the shoes of the demon barber or his crazed sidekick. This production is not to be missed; if you can't make it tonight, there are also auditions tomorrow and Wednesday. UPB Spot Night favorite Totally Michael makes his triumphant return in support of his self-titled debut full-length album, recorded earlier. Having performed at two Spot Nights last year, Michael immediately caught on with UPB and Case students with his energetic brand of electro pop, audience participation and songs like "Cheerleaders vs. Drillteam" and "Shake Your Booty or Die!"
