Q: What would you like people to know about Mental Health Awareness Week?
A: It’s really about showing support for everyone. The thing about mental illness is that we don’t talk about it enough, and it’s very easy for people to internalize it and feel like they’re alone in their struggles. I think the biggest part is to make sure everyone is aware that people everywhere are struggling with this and that people everywhere also want to help.
