The sisters of Alpha Chi Omega are raising awareness, but not through any usual means like a walkathon or a dinner. They’re taking a more competitive route and hosting their Domestic Violence Awareness Week Kickball Tournament. Coming in at the tail end of a week of events, this should be a highlight, with games of kickball lasting the evening, as well as music and a costume contest. Time: 6 p.m. to midnight. Cost: Free to attend. Location: Freiberger Field. Information: Facebook event.

We already celebrated the fall at the farm, and now it’s time to celebrate Halloween at Home. The Class Officer Collective is holding a daylong event at Freiberger Field, featuring a pumpkin trebuchet, delicious food, a beer garden, and live music from local singer-songwriter Nicholas Megalis. The group is also encouraging and accepting monetary donations during the event, the proceeds of which will go toward to the Cleveland Foodbank. Time: 4 p.m. Cost: Free, donations encouraged. Location: Freiberger Field. Information: firstname.lastname@example.org

In order to sample a wide variety of culinary delights, one need not travel around the world, nor need one travel around Cleveland. One simply can attend UPB’s Fourth Annual Passport Around the World dining event. The event will feature samplings from such area restaurants as Pacific East, Mi Pueblo, Aladdin’s, Mint Café, and more. This should certainly serve as a fresh alternative to the same dining hall routine every other night. Time: 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Cost: Free. Location: Thwing Ballroom. Information: upb.case.edu
