Monday, September 6 (Labor Day)
Monday marks the return of the annual Cleveland Peace Show. The peace rally takes place by the Free Stamp located in downtown Cleveland at E. 9th and Lakeside Dr. The event is free and there will be demonstrators, booths, live music, and lemonade all promoting peace. Hear those planes flying overhead? No? Are you deaf?! If you are more interested in an event that is going to get your blood pumping and making you cover your head and ears, check out The Cleveland Air Show. The Navy’s Blue Angels will be doing amazing stunts throughout the day as well as during the preceding weekend. A schedule can be found at the event’s website. While you can hear the planes throughout the Cleveland area, anywhere you can see the lake is a good place to go watch. Time: 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Location: Burke Lakefront Airport. Next Friday during Case Community Hour, a plethora of non-profit organizations and student groups will invade the Thwing Ballroom to educate students on how to get more involved in the surrounding Cleveland area.
