FIDLAR – “FIDLAR”
FIDLAR’s debut album was 40 minutes of garage/surf punk goodness. They address heavy lyrical themes like taking bong rips in the back seat, wanting good cocaine for breakfast, and not being able to surf. If that sounds like your kind of music, you could do a lot worse than FIDLAR.
The Year to Come
There’s a lot of 2013 left, and here are some of the biggest, most anticipated albums still to come.
MIA – “Matangi”
It seems MIA has entered some kind of middle-career slump: her third album “Maya” got panned, she started giving really hostile interviews, and stuff like that. But “Bad Girls” is going to be on her upcoming album “Matangi”, so here’s to hoping the rest of the album is even a little bit as good as that single.
