CWRU Thoughts
Q: How has being a college student changed your perspective?
A: I think being with people who are different from you is really helpful. Having to interact with people who are different from you, living with people whose backgrounds you don’t know – and they don’t know yours– and learning other people’s ways of thinking is good for me, I think. In a way, it’s made me more sure of my own ideas, and it’s also made me more tolerant. I’m more willing to understand other people’s opinions, but I also understand my own ideas better.
