The new eateries at the Tinkham Veale University Center are giving students a chance to win a $50 gift certificate by entering one of their two upcoming contests.

The Melt University Challenge, which will take place on Friday, Aug. 29 at 1:00 pm, asks five participants to eat a super sandwich and sides, over five pounds of food. The participants will be chosen at random and contacted on Thursday. Enter for a chance to participate by sending your name and phone number to BAatTVUC@gmail.com.

The Cool Beanz contest asks students to guess how many “cool beanz” there are in a jar and send guesses to BAatTVUC@gmail.com, with their name and phone number. The winner will be contacted on August 29.
