UPDATE 1/23/2014 4 p.m: Tickets are available online.
On Feb. 10, 2014 in the Thwing Center Ballroom, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian will speak and sign copies of his book, “Without Their Permission.”
This is one of many talks across the United States at colleges and universities. However, this is the only stop in Northeast Ohio.
Ohanian will also interview one of the co-founders of Onosys, an online and mobile ordering system for restaurants. Three Case Western Reserve University graduates created the company, hosted by LivingSocial.
“Without Their Permission” touches on how younger generations must create the future and not wait for previous generations to hand it to them. The book’s website features a video that highlights the need to fail before succeeding in the long-term.
The event will be held between 12 p.m. and 1:30 p.m., and books will be available to purchase. For more information about the tour, event, and the book, visit www.withouttheirpermission.com.
