Friday, Jan. 20
Silent Disco: 9 p.m.-2 a.m. at the Grog Shop. There will be three channels broadcast during the disco. Channel one will feature Indie Dance, Deep House and Nu Disco DJs White Rims and MisterBradleyP. Channel two will spotlight Hip Hop, R&B and Reggae DJs Walk and LoveMuzak. Channel three will be a mix of 80s, New Wave and Electro genres, DJed by Textbeak and Sputnik. Tickets are $10.
The Deploraball (Donald Trump Inauguration) Event: 10 p.m.-2 a.m. at Jolly Scholar. Festivities include a pin the toupee on Donald Trump contest, $2.99 golden ales and Goldschlager shots.
The CWRU Film Society’s 42nd Annual Sci-Fi marathon: 8 p.m. on Friday and ends after Ghostbusters (11:45 p.m.) on Saturday night. For the entire night and access to all the films, a ticket costs $25. Wine Pong Tournament: 9 p.m.-1 a.m. at Yuzu (Lakewood, Ohio). Tournaments start at 10:30 p.m. (red wine), 11:30 p.m. (white wine) and 12:30 a.m. (sparkling wine). Participate in any tournament you’d like (if you’re of age), or try to win all three—the event is free to the public. Winning teams will score a $25 Yuzu Gift Card.
Saturday, Jan. 21
Women’s March on Cleveland: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Public Square. Begins in Cleveland’s Public Square at 10 a.m. with guest speakers until 11 a.m., immediately followed by the march, which runs from Ontario Street to City Hall and then back to Public Square. The event will end with information on how to stay involved. This march is an inclusive event—everyone supporting the cause is welcome.
SCENE United We Brunch 2017: 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Galleria at Erieview. This event includes brunch tastings, Bloody Marys, mimosas, beer, wine and champagne, music and more. You must be 21 or over to attend this event. Tickets: General Admission: $40 for regular entry at 11 a.m., unlimited brunch tastings, five drink tickets and a commemorative glass. VIP: $60 for VIP Entry 10 a.m., unlimited tastings, eight drink tickets, a commemorative glass and access to the full bar and VIP seating area. Parking is available for $3 in the nearby Galleria parking garage.
Sunday, Jan. 22
Anna Karenina by Vakhtangov Theatre: 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Cedar Lee Theater. Tickets are $15 for adults, and $12.50 for children and seniors.
