The Observer retracted reporting on bio[box], the new laboratory developed in the spirit of Sears think[box], after editors were made aware a new reporter plagiarized the story from The Daily. A professor contacted The Observer after reading the story headlined, “Department of Biology launches new research space”. The editors were not aware the reporter had done so when the story was published but should have caught it. The Observer apologizes to its readers and The Daily.
