Friday, Nov. 18

1st Annual Jolly Scholar Turkey Trot: 10 p.m.- 2 a.m. at The Jolly Scholar. This event is similar to a cake walk except you can win a turkey. Randomly during the night you will move around the music, a Jolly employee will pull a number and you can win a turkey. They will also be offering different cranberry, sweet potato and pumpkin-flavored cocktails for the night.

Gift of Lights—Grand Opening Weekend: Nov. 18 at 5 p.m to Nov. 20 at 10 p.m. at Victory Park Ohio. A drive-through holiday light display over a mile long featuring more than 30 state-of-the-art static and animated displays, including a foot light tunnel. Gift of Lights at Victory Park Ohio will be lit from Nov. 18, 2016 through Jan. 1, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. daily. A portion of the proceeds from the Gift of Lights event will benefit Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital.

Saturday, Nov. 19

Holiday Market: 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Shaker Square. Local artists, farmers, local food gifts and Ohio wines! Find one-of-a-kind holiday gifts.

Fall Into Winter: 1:30-4:30 p.m. at The Spot. There will be food from Buffalo Wild Wings in addition to macaroni & cheese, apple nachos, an ice cream bar and a hot chocolate bar. There will be make-and-takes like snow globes, candles and mugs. Don’t miss performances from a jazz band, Case in Point, CWRU Solstice and Dhamakapella.

Crocker Park Tree Lighting: 5-7:30 p.m. at Crocker Park. Witness performances from local performance groups, The RockNRoll Chorus and Disney star, Peyton List. The winner of the free Crocker Park apartment will also be announced. The event will be capped off by the arrival of Santa Claus who will light up the 50-foot Crocker Park tree, which has over 200,000 lights choreographed to music. The event is free and open to all.

Adult Swim: Christmas Ales and Ciders: 6-10 p.m. at the Greater Cleveland Aquarium. Each ticket includes a souvenir tasting glass, 20 sample tickets and aquarium admission. Non-pass holders tickets are $40, pass holders are $30 and designated drivers are $20.

Bollywood Night: 7-9 p.m. at Carlton Commons. A celebration of Indian culture with lots of free food, prizes, henna, a DJ and performances by Kismat and Nritya.

Sunday, Nov. 20

Carlton Canines: 2-4 p.m. at Carlton Commons. Come out and support Colleges Against Cancer by de-stressing with some dogs and enjoying some wings and subs.
