Winter Wonderland
January 31, 2014
The university that usually prides itself on remaining open despite the elements succumbed to winter’s frozen force this past Tuesday. Usually, the Case Western Reserve University Emergency Management webpage practically boasts that CWRU “rarely closes.” But the university could not ignore frigid temperatures, with lows reaching minus 10 degrees, without the windchill. Around 5 p.m. Monday night, all Tuesday classes were cancelled, but other operations remained open after 10 a.m.
