What: MECA’s Spring Hafleh
When: 6-9 p.m.
Where: Thwing Center
Notes: The Middle Eastern Cultural Association hosts its semi annual Hafleh, featuring performances by the Al Salam Dabke Group and a belly dancer. The event will also have a DJ and a henna booth.
What: Chocolate Banquet
When: 7-9 p.m.
Where: Thwing Center
Notes: Kids Against Hunger Cleveland will be having their largest semi-formal event of the year by hosting their Annual Chocolate Banquet, featuring dinner catered by La Trattoria of Little Italy completed by an array of chocolatey desserts. Tickets – $9 for one person of $16 for two – can be paid by cash or Tapingo. Free brownies will be given to all who buy tickets. All proceeds will benefit hunger initiatives in the Cleveland area. Tickets on sale from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., March 19 through March 23 in Nord Hall.
What: Drive-In Movie: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
When: 7-9 p.m.
Where: Leutner Pavilion
Notes: BYOB (bring your own blanket) and join University Program Board (UPB) for a night of unwinding watching this classic. There will be raffles for blankets, windbreakers and a free year of Mitchell’s Homemade Ice Cream.
What: Casino Night
When: 7-10 p.m.
Where: Thwing Center, Room 201
Notes: Phi Kappa Tau will be hosting their annual Casino Night to benefit the Serious Fun Children’s Network, an organization that runs free camps internationally for children who are ill. Games will include poker, blackjack, euchre, craps and roulette in addition to free food and beverages. The raffle will also include a $50 Melt Bar and Grill gift card.

What: Spring Giveaway
When: 12-4 p.m.
Where: Tinkham Veale University Center
Notes: Hosted by CWRU UPB, this event will feature free sweets, the chance to win a hammock and shirts that resemble those of Vineyard Vines with a CWRU twist. A variety of rooms will be featuring different areas of UPB, like Concerts, On-Campus, Off-Campus, and Thwing Tuesdays. Be sure to arrive early if you are seeking a little extra in the realm of giveaways.
What: King of the Wing 2018
When: 7-9 p.m.
Where: Jolly Scholar
Notes: This Wing Eating Contest presented by Pi Kappa Phi will be supporting The Ability Experience, a nonprofit organization that serves people with disabilities. Tickets are $12 presale or $15 at the door. Teams of four can take advantage of $40 presale or $50 at the door. Winners will receive a Mitchell’s Homemade Ice Cream gift card, the right to brag and a show-off worthy 3D-printed trophy.
What: Midwest Cactus and Succulent Society Show and Sale
When: 3/24 10 a.m.-5 p.m., 3/25 12-5pm
Where: Cleveland Botanical Garden
Notes: For plant enthusiasts, the Botanical Garden will be hosting this popular annual show exhibiting an array of forms, varieties, colors and textures of cacti and succulents. The event is free with regular admission.
What: Spring A Capella Festival
When: 5-7 p.m.
Where: Harkness Chapel
Notes: Featuring Case in Point, Speakeasy and the Case Men’s Glee Club, the Spring A Capella Festival brings together three of the campus’s a capella teams for free night of music and fun.
