Case Western Reserve University has a nerdy sense of humor, and on Friday December 12th, the medical students will get to perform every medical spoof they can think of.

This will be at, of course, the annual Doc Opera, held this year in the Cleveland Masonic Auditorium.

This year’s theme, “A Song of Bugs and Drugs,” will be recognized by any “Game of Thrones” fan, with a similar type and design spanning across the banner of the event’s website.

The show will roll off at 7 p.m., though there is a cocktail hour just one hour beforehand. After the show, the doctors will be hosting a dessert reception and moving downtown for an after party at 10 p.m. Tickets are only $15 for students, and $25 for general admission.

In past years, Doc Opera has included tap dancing performances, music video spoofs and small group skit performances. All money made from the event is donated directly to the Free Clinic. According to the Doc Opera website, for the past few years, the show has gained quite a following, allowing the students to donate tens of thousands of dollars to the Free Clinic each year.

Tickets can be bought up until midnight tonight (Dec. 12), or can be bought at the event tomorrow by cash or check.
