Friday, Sept. 30:

Oktoberfest 2016 : Friday 11 a.m.- Sunday 11 p.m. at Hofbrauhaus Cleveland. Along with live music, the weekend events include face painters, stilt walkers and Stein Holding and Pretzel Tossing contests.

KATwalk 2016: 7-10 p.m. at the Thwing Center. Kappa Alpha Theta’s fall philanthropy event that raises money for Court Appointed Special Advocates, an organization that helps care for children in the foster system. Individual tickets are $4.

Barefoot in the Park: Opening of the Eldred Theater’s performance of “Barefoot in the Park”. The times of the performances are: Sept. 30, Oct. 1, 7 and 8 at 7:30 p.m., Oct. 2 and 9 at 3 p.m. Single Ticket Price: $10 Adults 60 and older, and CWRU faculty and staff: $7, Students with ID: $5

Back to the Beginning: Celebrating the Music of Rollo Dilworth. 7:30-8 p.m. in Church of the Covenant. Tickets are free.

Night Market Cleveland: 5-11 p.m. at Rockwell & East 21st, Cleveland, Ohio 44114. The series is a mash-up of farmer’s market, maker market, food festival and entertainment series. This event is open to the public and free.

Official Night Market After Party: 10 p.m.-2 a.m. located at 2530 Superior Avenue, Suite 500, Cleveland.There will be three DJ’s and Cleveland Whiskey will be served.

1st Annual Pumpkin Spice Everything Party: 10 p.m.-2 a.m. at Jolly Scholar. From their facebook event: “Bring a real pumpkin, get a real drink.” Pumpkin Spice drinks, music and a pumpkin spice king and queen.

 

Saturday, Oct. 1:

Navratri Garba: 1-7 p.m. in Adelbert Gymnasium. A night filled with garba, raas and bhangra along with some free snacks. Traditional Indian clothing is encouraged, but not required.

Bobsterfest Bar Crawl: 3:30-11 p.m. at Yuzu (13603 Madison Ave, Lakewood, Ohio 44107). $5.95 Burger of the Day specials (puns included) and prizes—a combined $500 in value—awarded for the following categories: most creative individual costume, most creative group and scavenger photo hunt winners grand prize.

Gala Latina: 6-8 p.m. at Tinkham Veale University Center. Business or formal attire recommended. Reception starts at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be at 6 p.m. Free for all students and $25 for guests. Reserve tickets on cwrugalalatina.eventbrite.com.

 

Sunday,  Oct. 2:

Seinfeldian Ethics: Learning Something From a Show About Nothing. 7 – 8:30 p.m. at Happy Dog at the Euclid Tavern

International Community Day 2016: 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at Cleveland Museum of Art. This free event features more than 50 community groups and organizations that present their rich diversity in music, dance and cultural displays.
