Friday, Feb. 17
Radiate 2017: 9 p.m.-3 a.m. at Cleveland Agora. The sixth annual GLOW fest will have performances by Grandtheft, Dr. Fresch, SunSquabi, Vibe Street and many more. Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 at the door. Glow gear is strongly encouraged.
Saturday, Feb. 18
February Cat Yoga: 10 a.m.-11 a.m. at the Cleveland Animal Protective League (1729 Willey Ave, Cleveland, Ohio 44113).
Olympic Champions Meryl Davis and Charlie White Live Show: 1:30 p.m.-2:15 p.m. at Cleveland Public Square. Meryl Davis and Charlie White won Gold in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. The figure skating champions will headline a free public performance at the Cleveland Foundation Skating Rink. Winterhurst Figure Skating Club Member and Coach, Carol Heiss Jenkins, a 1960 U.S. Olympic Gold Medal Winner, will emcee the entire show. The event also features a number of award-winning local figure skaters from area Figure Skating Clubs.
Brite Winter 2017: Feb. 18 at 3 p.m. to Feb. 19 at 2 a.m. at Westbank of the Flats. This is the eighth Annual Brite Winter Art and Music Festival, featuring over 30 bands on six indoor and outdoor stages. Immerse yourself in interactive art exhibits, the best food trucks in town and plenty to drink. Brite Winter is free and fun for everyone.
Nightingala: 7 p.m.-9 p.m. at the Thwing Center. Enjoy an evening of food, fun and entertainment. The night will include dinner, guest speakers and a performance by Case in Point. Cocktail attire is suggested. Tickets are $5 for students, $10 for faculty and $15 for general public guests
Blacklight Volleyball: 8 p.m.-10 p.m. at Adelbert Gymnasium. There will be a tournament court and a free play court. Teams of six people can sign up online. Teams and individual players are welcome to sign up the day of the event. There will be food, prizes and glow-in-the-dark volleyballs!
Sunday, Feb. 19
Pop Up Brunch with Pope’s Kitchen 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Rising Star Coffee Roasters Little Italy. The menu includes made-to-order omelettes made with locally sourced eggs, with side of hash browns and fresh fruit. Other options are “The Western,” “The Happy Greek” and fresh Belgian waffles topped with fruit and a choice of handmade flavored whipped cream.
