What: Crave It: Food Trucks
When: noon-2 p.m.
Where: Bellflower Road
Notes: UPB will be bringing food trucks to campus near Mather Quad with food from Manna Truck, Jones Bones BBQ and Fortune Cafe. Entertainment will include giant board games, a caricature artist, airbrush tattoos and more.

 

What: La Fiesta: Havana Nights
When: 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Where: Linsalata Alumni Center
Notes: La Alianza will be hosting their annual cultural show and dinner. The event will feature an authentic Latin-American dinner and a cultural showcase. Ticket prices: $5 for undergraduates, $7 for graduate students and $10 for community members. Tickets are available for purchase through Tapingo or at the door.

 

What: Fantastic Crepe Friday
When: 7-10 p.m.
Where: Phi Sigma Rho house
Notes: Join Phi Sigma Rho for free crepes, games, music and trivia to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Winners of trivia receive a Mitchell’s gift card.

 

What: Theta Pi Sing
When: 7 p.m.
Where: The Spot, 1619 Mistletoe Dr, Cleveland, OH 44106
Notes: Theta Pi Sigma will be hosting their first ever philanthropy event featuring live music from Case in Point and Blue Theory, as well as an open mic karaoke and good food. There is a $3 suggested donation for attendance and raffle tickets are $1 each. All proceeds go to the LGBT Center of Greater Cleveland.

 

Saturday, April 21

What: CWRU Relay for Life 2018
When: 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Where: DiSanto Field
Notes: This signature fundraiser event will bring together undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, staff and community members to raise money and awareness for the fight against cancer. Entertainment for the Relay will include performances from the Case Western Spartan Dance Team, Solstice, the Case Salsa Club, Case in Point, Case Western Nritya and more. There will also be tournaments such as USG’s kickball tournament. Food will include a pancake breakfast, ice cream, BBQ, pizza and birthday cake. Be sure to register at relayforlife.org/cwru.

 

Sunday, April 22

What: SAE Inaugural Kickball Classic
When: 1-5 p.m.
Where: DiSanto Field
Notes: Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity will be hosting their Inaugural Kickball Classic, a kickball tournament benefiting the Kids Kicking Cancer Division of Rainbow Babies and CMNH. Food and beverages will be provided, and there will be activities including spikeball. Additionally, the kids from Kids Kicking Cancer will be in attendance. Teams of eight to 10 people can register for $8 per person. The winning team will be able to choose a philanthropy to receive a donation of $100.
